Dr. Dawn Martin earned her veterinary degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada, then completed her internship, residency, and DVSc degree at Ontario Veterinary College.
After successfully achieving board certification, Dr. Martin joined Veterinary Emergency Clinic (VEC), a busy multi-disciplinary referral hospital in downtown Toronto, where she practised for 7 years. In 2013, Dr. Martin moved to Sarasota and developed an Internal Medicine practice. She is looking forward to bringing this experience and expertise to the Tampa Bay area. Dr. Martin is skilled in endoscopy, including gastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, rhinoscopy, tracheobronchoscopy and cystoscopy. She has particular interest in ultrasound, including abdominal, soft tissue, and thoracic (non-cardiac). Dr. Martin’s areas of special interest include nephrology, endocrinology, hepatobiliary and autoimmune diseases, though she enjoys the challenge of all aspects of internal medicine.
